Learning everything about water can take a lifetime, which is why educating the public about the importance of water is the purpose behind our mission. How to best protect and manage our water supply while dealing with climate change, pollution, and commoditization of this resource require education around multiple disciplines.

WATER IN SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY
Our mission is to share as much information on water topics related to science and technology as possible, including but not limited to water resources, quality, chemistry, supply, treatment, distribution, wastewater collection, and reclamation. Water resources management is essential to human existence on this planet.
WATER IN POLITICS AND ECONOMICS
Water has defined human geography, migration, trade, and settlements throughout history. Access to water has the potential to influence economics, geopolitics, and even conflict. For these reasons, one of the most significant future challenges to humankind is water management, access, equity, and diplomacy in the face of a growing population, climate change, and sea-level rise threats. An equitable and predictable water supply is a crucial element toward improvements in world peace and economic prosperity.
WATER IN HUMANITIES
Water has been part of our beautiful blue planet longer than we have existed. In non-scientific communities, creators are doing a significant amount of work on sustainability and water issues that require public attention. Humans have been drawing, writing, photographing, sculpting, and using water within works of art to honor and share the beauty and abundance of life that water brings to us throughout history. It is equally important to address this part water plays in visual arts and literature across the globe to educate and inspire us to honor and protect our most valuable resource.
